Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components using soldering techniques, including surface mount technology and through-hole soldering.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand assembly requirements and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies using tools such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty components or assemblies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Remote van repairs using our company van on some days
Skills
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including experience with surface mount technology.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and logic controllers.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings.
