UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Software Engineer in Weehawken, NJ.

We're looking for an Associate Director, Software Engineer to:
Design batch and streaming data processing architectures.
Create a framework for cleansing, mapping, transforming, and optimizing data for storage and use according to business and technical requirements.
Solution design using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Azure services and other tools.
Design logical and physical database structures using Microsoft SQL Server.
Design, build and deploy effective SSIS packages.
Design a framework for loading transformed data into storage and reporting structures in destinations including data warehouse, high speed indexes, real-time reporting systems and analytics applications.
Maintain VBA code and integrate End User Applications built in MS Excel with new data platforms.
Provide technical documentation.
Automate tasks and deploy production standard code with unit testing, continuous integration, and versioning.
Design and build data pipelines to collectively bring together data.
Extract data, troubleshooting and maintaining the data warehouse.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
Perform data mapping, transformation and ETL.

Education & Experience Requirement
This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technology Manager, Technology Specialist, Technology Lead, Module Leader, or related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technology Manager, Technology Specialist, Technology Lead, Module Leader, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience.
