Senior Software Engineer - Java & BPMN Workflow Technology

We're looking for Senior Software Engineer to:

provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
be both highly technical, hands-on coder with experience in effectively managing stakeholders and teammates
analyze business requirements for the workflow delivery team of Service Enablement Crew
design, develop, implement, and mange technology platforms in the service enablement areas
providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
apply a broad range of full stack development, security, reliability, and integration technologies on the Cloud platform to help our team deliver a robust and scalable platform

Your team

You'll be working in the Service Enablement Crew of WMA IT as part of the technology division in Weehawken, NJ and you will work closely with the wider team across other locations (Budapest, Weehawken). As an experienced technology lead software engineer, you'll play an important role in building group-wide web services, UI & workflow solution that help build a robust world class workflow platform. Our team designs, delivers and operate state-of-the-art financial systems that offer best-in-class services to our bank's clients and provides workflow solutions for various field and branch requirements.

Your expertise

Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
own end-to-end client project deliveries, oversee complex projects, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery through effective team management
lead the design and development of enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements
excellent communication skills and team player, working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools, analytical and methodical problem solving and debugging skills
good knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native services preferably in Microsoft Azure
expert hands-on knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable systems
experienced in Full stack Java development, Java/J2EE, React JS, Kafka, REST APIs, microservices, and event driven architecture
experienced in developing workflow solutions using Activiti, Flowable or Camunda BPMN providers
