Culinary Administrative Assistant, UBS Arena

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a part-time Culinary Administrative Assistant to join our Food and Beverage team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Culinary Administrative Assistant, you will ensure the department is organized and prepared for event and game days.

• Scheduling, Managing Time sheets
• Assisting in ordering
• Inventory assistance
• Produce sales, departmental, and financial reports
• Assist with routine MICROS programming, database maintenance, and end-of-month reports
• File correspondence, reports, and departmental records in appropriate files
• Assist the culinary team with monitoring stock levels and food orders

• Must be at least 18 years old
• General food knowledge
• Basic math skills required for ordering and processing invoices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

UBS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Elmont, New York, next to the Belmont Park race track. The home to the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL) hosts around 150 major events annually.
