What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Risk & Control Specialist position at UBS?
Your role
Are you a cybersecurity professional who is passionate about proactive security? Do you enjoy working closely with business, legal, compliance to improve the preparedness of a company's cybersecurity posture? Do you have knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices? Do you have experience with leading cyber remediation programs and solving problems?
Then we are looking for someone like you to :
- lead the delivery of cyber remediation projects with the main focus of addressing audit and regulatory requirements within the Cyber Defense organization
- manage regulatory exams impacting CD by coordinating responses, leading remediation efforts, and reviewing evidence
- manage and respond to internal & external audit engagements while partnering with Cyber Defense verticals to engage with audit teams during active audit activities
- manage and respond to global regulatory requests from the CISO & TISO organizations, prepare leadership regulatory materials and lead the definition of technical requirements that will meet or exceed audit and regulatory obligations
- deliver against unplanned, ad-hoc requests for information and tactical remediation efforts and inform of relevant global regulatory requirements and make recommendations to maintain compliance
- provide expertise on control implementation, risk processes improvements and prepare executive materials to keep management updated on remediation progress and emerging issues

You will be working in the Technology Services Cyber & Information Security function (TS CIS). The TS CIS Vision is to protect, preserve, and prolong the value of the UBS data and digital services, and enhance UBS's brand and competitiveness in a digitized world. The TS CIS mission is to lead the management of all cyber threats and cyber risk across our Firm. To "protect the foundations and secure the future," TS CIS serves two mission areas : cyber threat management and defense (understanding, detecting, and responding to threats), and cyber risk management and governance (setting priorities and preventing threats).
We are building a global team that will have a presence in Switzerland, Poland, USA and Singapore that will encompass the competencies of Cyber Readiness, Third Party Cyber and Incident Management. Our Cyber Service Integration team is focused on ensuring that the right processes, procedures and controls are in place to enable the Cyber Defense organization.
