We’re looking for a Director, IT Mainframe Architect to:
- Drive the analysis, design, development and deployment of software components.
- Timely resolve issues, optimize service issues and gaps, and implement service quality.
- Conduct audits to evaluate gaps in the technology or processes and implement effective, efficient operational policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems.
- Develop mainframe applications.
- Engineer mainframes and collaborate with the mainframe engineering team.
- Participate in software product evaluation and integration.
- Develop cost savings initiatives involving performance tuning.
- Efficiently integrate solutions involving legacy and modern technologies.
- Identify areas of constant change to drive improvement across the technology platform.
- Collaborate and coordinate with various teams globally.

- Education & Experience Requirement
- This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Development, Engineering (any), or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technology Architect, Technology Architect, Technology Lead, Software Designer, Assistant Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
- Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
- The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Development, Engineering (any), or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technology Architect, Technology Architect, Technology Lead, Software Designer, Assistant Systems Engineer, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience.
