Your role
Are you an Event Management professional? Are you driven by the desire to deliver exceptional event experiences for employees, clients and prospects? We’re looking for an Event Planner.
You will:
You will:
- plan and be accountable for 12- 20 signature events a year, both in-person, as well as support senior planners on larger projects, and compile business results measurement and reporting post-event
- collaborate with internal and external business partners to translate strategy into execution
- negotiate hotel/venue/vendor/speaker contracts and task orders
- liaise with hotel/venue on menu selection, rooming list, function space set-up, audio visual, décor etc.
- execute Web-based event nomination, registration development & attendee management
- create staffing plan and manage on-site staff
Your team
You'll be working as part of the Field Engagement Team and partnering with groups across the firm to create impactful internal and client facing events. You will play a critical role in helping to train and retain our Financial Advisors as well as help to provide opportunities to Financial Advisors to strengthen their relationships with their clients
Your expertise
You have:
- years' experience in the Event Management industry (particularly in financial industry is a plus) with the skills needed to plan and operate live and virtual programs
- a Bachelor's degree from an accredited instution
- the ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time including occasional nights and weekends
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- ability to multi-task programs and projects in a fast-paced environment with short timeframes
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and web-based registration software
