What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning Specialist position at UBS?
Your role
We are looking for a Planning Specialist to work with a large advisory team in the Cincinnati Market. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and has a passion for helping others create sound financial plans.
This position works closely with the senior Wealth Management Advisor in charge of planning for the team. Responsibilities include :
- Engaging with clients and prospects to help them understand and articulate their financial goals with respect to retirement, education, wealth preservation, and other.
- Developing coherent and realistic financial plans that address the interrelated concerns - risk tolerance, growth requirements, time frames, investment instruments and structure, tax sensitivity, legal / regulatory considerations, etc. - involved in complex planning situations.
- Quantifying and modeling financial goals to clarify and illuminate decision points for advisor use and presentation to clients.
- Collect and input data into a range of planning software. Create reports, spreadsheets, etc. based on that data for presentation to clients.
- Proactive collaboration with team members to maintain a positive, productive team environment.
