Position Overview
The objective of the Inside Sales position is to provide customer support, order quotation and receipt as well as processing of relevant supporting documentation and paperwork. Advancement in this position and within the department is based on the number and proficiency of execution of the afore-mentioned operations.
Duties
- Receipt of customer quotations, orders, questions, and complaints via phone, fax, email, and POS (point of sale)
- Processing of quotations, orders, questions, and complaints within company database and/or spreadsheets per relevant work instructions
- Customer follow-up via phone, fax, email, and POS
- Pulling of finished stock / inventory and execution of staging pulled inventory for order fulfillment
- Report raw material needs and discrepancies to Procurement Manager
- Interacting with production and sales personnel to effectively communicate discrepancies, customer specifications, questions, and complaints
- Actively contribute to UC Components "Quality Management System" and other procedures
- Provide relevant information regarding progress and quality issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills
- Working knowledge of basic software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Chrome/Explorer, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Experience with 3rd party portals such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, etc.
- Cordiality with customers
- Ability to work in groups
Oversight
Position will report to the General Manager/Office Manager
