Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- One year in clinical research administration or similar setting.
- Experience developing and preparing grant applications in the musculoskeletal health research.
- Experience working with but not limited to publication of peer reviewed manuscripts, writing reports and grant proposals.
- Experience with articulating program mission, developing strategies to move the program forward, gathering information and evaluating program performance, developing and implementing policies to ensure successful conduct of research.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to organize time and work appropriately to meet deadlines, to set appropriate priorities and maintain multiple ongoing projects, and to use excellent professional judgement.
- Effective communication skills to convey knowledge and skills to others in both oral and written form.
- Skills to anticipate and analyze problems, make sound decisions using good professional judgement and common sense, and identify solutions.
- Experience in clinical research administration.
- Clinical research experience in an emergency setting and/or multi-center research setting, including contract/grant administration and budgeting principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research methodologies used in clinical research, public health, orthopaedic, emergency medicine or epidemiology.
- Demonstrated skills to lead a team, managing recruitment of qualified personnel, personnel performance and staff development.
- Knowledge of how to review research proposals and perform pre-award management.
