Job Summary
Under direction of the Financial Operations Manager – Hospital Operations, the Project Policy Analyst 3 is responsible for (1) transactional human resource/labor and non-labor expense actions and (2) advancing specific ad hoc projects in support of financial analysts for the Hospital divisions.
Transactional work is focused in JDX Job Builder, AggieService, AggieExpense and similar systems.
Projects are ad hoc with emphasis on work in support systems deployed specifically for UC Davis Health (examples: Lawson, EPSi), UC Davis (examples: AggieExpense, Cognos) and the University of California (example: UCPath). Projects will span labor/non-labor functions and entail coordination with other divisions in the Medical Center (example: Finance, Ambulatory Operations), School of Health and UC Davis main campus.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in applicable field OR equivalent experience/training
- Experience with healthcare administrative and clinical operations and policies
- Experience with administrative information technology systems, particularly human resources applications and/or Salesforce
- Project management and workgroup facilitation
- Exceptional customer service skills demonstrated in an office workplace setting
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to independently gather data and generate quantitative and qualitative analysis with specific recommendations
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to tackle unfamiliar projects, assignments and tasks with a positive, “can do” attitude
