What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Custodian - JV Rehab Hospital position at UC Davis Health?
The Senior Custodian position includes but is not limited to performing semi-skilled and skilled cleaning, housekeeping and / or general maintenance duties in all areas on the UCDH campus; waste handling for regular, regulated medical waste (rmw) and linen waste and perform other duties as assigned.
The Senior Custodian ensures all necessary procedures for equipment are used in accordance with departmental safety policies.
This position is physically demanding and will require a great deal of lifting, stretching, walking and bending.

Department Overview
The primary purpose of the Joint Venture Rehabilitation Hospital is to provide a full range of rehabilitation services designed to restore patients to their optimal functional capacity. The hospital is a 52-bed rehabilitation hospital on the Sacramento medical center campus. It is equipped with leading-edge amenities and adaptive units where patients can practice typical activities of daily living. The rehabilitation hospital also includes a 12-bed brain injury unit and four private rooms for bariatric patients.
