About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of maximizing health, function, and quality of life for individuals with rehabilitation needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and established goals.
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients with various conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurological disorders.
- Assess and address communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments through evidence-based treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for licensure in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
