Position Summary :
The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data – specifically for reporting on Epic Beaker metrics. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health. The incumbent will use UCI Health software such as Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions. The focus of this position is laboratory reporting for programs for enterprise. This includes quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical / operational reporting.

Salary Range :
Annual Rate Minimum $100,600.00 Midpoint $145,700.00 Maximum $190,800.00
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and / or combination of education and equivalent work experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- 3 years of data analytics experience using relational databases
- 3 years of experience with SQL
- 3 years of experience with MS SQL server or Oracle as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
