Position Description
The Department of Health, Society & Behavior, Joe C. Wen School of Population and Public Health at the University of California-Irvine seeks a Junior Specialist to conduct quantitative data analyses on a number of projects for vaccine confidence, misinformation, and climate change communication research. Potential analyses include trend and predictive analyses, latent class analysis to identify subgroups on vaccine confidence, spatio-temporal analyses of vaccine and climate change social media data and social indices of health data using CA healthy places index (HPI) or CalEnviroScreen.
This position would be for one year. Conditional on funding, position may be renewable.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Requirements
- Masters degree or higher in Public Health, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Bio-medical Engineering
- Advanced quantitative data analyses skills including e.g., spatio-temporal trends over time of behavioral/communication data, subgroup latent class analyses; dyadic and or network analyses
- Excellent communication skills
- teamwork skills
- Bilingual proficiency with Spanish fluency.
