On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to students.
Essential Functions
- On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate courses
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications
- Other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree with at least three (3) years industry or business experience in the teaching subject area OR Associate’s Degree with at least five (5) years industry experience in the teaching subject area
- Member of the American Association for Respiratory Care [AARC]
- Current active Registered Respiratory Therapist [RRT] credential
- Current active Ohio practitioner's license OR Kentucky Respiratory practitioner’s license
- At least three (3) years industry or business experience in the teaching subject area
- Willingness to travel to any area hospitals for clinical rotations as assigned
- Must apply and be hired by the program's consortium partner
- Master's degree in the teaching subject area
- Previous teaching experience in an academic environment
- Experience working with students from varied academic backgrounds and life experiences
- Ohio practitioner’s license and Kentucky Respiratory practitioner's license
