Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties includes and are not limited to maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issue receipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performing other duties as assigned. Performs additional duties:
- Ensures that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff.
- Ensures that visitor issues are resolved to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health.
Must have a valid CA driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Relevant experience required.
Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Strong customer service skills.
Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $39,964 - $51,678 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $19.14 - $24.75
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
