We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team.

Job Overview:
As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in preparing complex income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced partners and managers, offering a chance to gain exposure to high-level tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take on more responsibility, lead engagements, and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
• Review and analyze financial statements, tax documents, and other data to ensure accuracy and completeness of returns.
• Assist in tax planning strategies and provide recommendations to clients, including advice on tax implications, credits, and deductions.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and team members on client projects to ensure excellent service and effective problem-solving.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training, and review of their work.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries and providing proactive advice.
• Stay up-to-date with current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.
• Assist with special projects as needed, including IRS audits, business restructurings, and tax research.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.
• CPA designation or progress towards obtaining one is highly preferred.
• 3 years of tax preparation experience, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Proficient in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-service mindset.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Salary : $65,000 - $135,000
