We are looking for a Patient Access Partner who has the ability to set strategies, persistent, high capacity of negotiation to join us in our team, based in GDL.
About the role
The Patient Access Partner will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth of our immunology and rare portfolio within the public healthcare sector in Mexico. This role requires a deep understanding of the public market dynamics, including tender processes, formulary inclusion, and key stakeholder management. The PAP will develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure optimal access and utilization of our products, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
What you’ll do
Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within public hospitals and government agencies (e.g., IMSS, ISSSTE, IMSS Bienestar and Non - Centralized).
Identify and map key stakeholders within assigned accounts, including physicians, pharmacists, administrators, and procurement personnel.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
Monitor and analyze account performance, identifying opportunities and challenges, and implementing appropriate action plans.
Market Access & Tender Management:
Understand and navigate the public tender process, including preparation of bids, contract negotiation, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with the iPVU and Rare teams to ensure optimal formulary inclusion and reimbursement for our core portfolio.
Monitor and analyze public market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide timely and accurate information on tender opportunities and market access challenges.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, PVUs, and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Government Key Account Manager and Access Manager on account performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and activities.
Compliance:
Adhere to all UCB policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to pharmaceutical promotion and anti-corruption.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of success in the public market.
- Strong knowledge of the public healthcare system, including tender processes, formulary inclusion, and reimbursement.
- Experience in immunology and/or rare is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
