We are currently seeking a full-time (37.5hr) Dental Assistant to join our team in Norwich. The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist with patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the dental clinic.Essential Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and take their dental records and vitals
- Assist dentists with all dental procedures utilizing fourhanded dentistry.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and care instructions
- Expose, develop, and duplicate radiographs; take impressions and pour models per generally accepted practice and department standards.
- Provide routine operational support such as tracking lab work, maintaining supplies in operatories, laundering staff scrub jackets and other duties as needed

- High School diploma or GED required
- Dental Assisting Certificate preferred, a minimum of 1-year of experience required for uncertified candidates
- Certificate in Radiology required
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
