We are currently seeking a full-time (40hr) Clinician for our Intern Program Liaison and Clinician, supporting recruitment and retention of health professionals through 1) placement of students, interns, and residents into educational training opportunities in behavioral health at UCFS and 2) continuing to develop clinical skills through maintaining a clinical caseload of direct care.

Responsibilities
- Develop new and foster existing relationships with schools, colleges and universities to expand internship and student opportunities at UCFS across all behavioral health services. Develop and deliver presentations; initiate and lead meetings with academic institutions to expand placement opportunities.
- Serves as a liaison between UCFS and schools and universities. Facilitate contract review with VP of BHS and/or President & CEO and responsible for compliance with contract requirements for each entity.
- Work collaboratively with Manager BHS Training and Clinical Consultation, members of the HR team, VP of Business Development to market UCFS internship and placement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the clinical leadership at UCFS to ensure appropriate placements in practices and successful completion of the internship objectives. Ensure documentation and reporting is completed in a timely manner for each placement.
- Development of training materials, scheduling and coordinating trainings (in-person and virtual), maintaining records of training activities, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Ensure positive experience for interns by providing a welcoming and engaging experience for each intern placed within UCFS. Responsible for managing intern applications, coordinating interviews, and conducting intern orientation sessions for each type of placement. Maintain data and create reports to track intern placements across UCFS for all active and past interns/residents/students.
- Connect interns/residents/students to hiring managers to discuss employment opportunities and develop ongoing placement efforts to ensure a hiring pipeline for the organization.
- Will maintain a caseload of clients with a productivity expectation of 13 visits per week.
- Ensure mandated clinical record keeping in accordance with State, Federal and agency standards of practice.
- Maintain professional competency by providing in-service education, keeping abreast of changes in the profession.

Requirements
- Master's degree (MA, MFT, MSW) and a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Active State of CT license (LCSW, LPC or LMFT)
- Prior experience managing internship and/or student programs with area schools, colleges and universities is strongly preferred.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and foster relationships.
- Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven project management expertise
- Knowledge of best practices in student internship programs and career development
- Ability to author and deliver professional training.
- Ability to work proactively in a team environment, collaborating across departments.
- Ability to use virtual conferencing platforms including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Consistently displays sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues.
