Job Description:
We are urgently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Caregivers/Homemakers to join our team in the Homewood area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, fostering independence, and promoting dignity and respect. Your compassionate care will be instrumental in making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients in daily activities and community involvement
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the management
- Encourage and facilitate activities that promote physical and mental wellness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience in caregiving or CNA roles
- Must have own vehicle and mode of transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and reliability
- Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Passionate about providing care and a flexible work schedule
