To be successful in this role, applicants must have a High School diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program or Associates Degree or Military trained, State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (DORA), and Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
