The Opportunity
System Chief Medical Officer, UCHealth
The System Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at UCHealth plays a pivotal role in championing clinical effectiveness, quality, and patient safety. The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for overseeing all medical operations within the organization, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered while aligning medical strategies with the overall business objectives, including compliance with regulations, by leading and guiding the medical staff, developing clinical policies, and collaborating with other departments to optimize patient outcomes; essentially acting as a bridge between the medical staff and the executive leadership team.
The CMO is expected to lead and develop innovative and measurable programs aimed at improving patient safety, quality of care, and health outcomes. They are accountable for creating and managing systems that facilitate the transfer of knowledge and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership :
- Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Monitoring clinical quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Overseeing physician credentialing and performance management.
- Promoting a culture of patient safety and quality improvement.

Pay : $457,600 - $686,420 annual. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
