Medical Assistant -Ambulatory Staffing Development Program - Windsor Positions available in primary care and specialty care clinics. Shift : Full-time Days, various shifts available MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I) UCHealth will hire into a Medical Assistant title in lieu of a Medical Assistant registration or certification if a candidate possesses : 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR is a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Provides direct patient care under the delegation and / or supervision of a nurse / healthcare provider Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and / or UCHealth Contributes to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care Direct care includes, but is not limited to gathering vital signs, specimen collection, communicating changes in patient condition and general patient care. Assists to keep care area stocked, cleaned and orderly. Maintains equipment and medical supplies. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
