Clinical Practitioner - Inpatient Services
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in our acute care unit. As a clinical practitioner, you will be responsible for providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, and demonstrate proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. In addition to direct care, you will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is also required, as well as 6 months of nursing (RN) experience and BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
