The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OBGYN at UCHealth performs sonographic imaging in accordance with standards and policies, ensuring patient understanding and cooperation throughout procedures.
Responsibilities:- Monitoring patient conditions
- Preparing equipment and supplies
- Selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
- Troubleshooting any technical issues
This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
