We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Imaging Professional to join our team at UCHealth. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring adherence to practice standards and organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures
- Educate patients about procedures and administer contrast media as needed
- Monitor patient conditions during imaging and report any changes in status
- Prepare equipment and supplies
In this role, you will work closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging results. You will also have the opportunity to troubleshoot equipment and implement new technologies.
Requirements:
- Credentials: Basic Life Support, ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Registered Radiologic Technologist, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completion of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Radiography) or by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- State licensure if required by law
