Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program or Associates Degree, and state registration as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist. Additionally, you must hold certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
