As a member of our Nursing Staff, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care in our acute care unit. This position involves direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a multidisciplinary team approach. Key responsibilities include prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. Proficiency is demonstrated through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. As a member of our team, you will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is also required. Additionally, 6 months of nursing (RN) experience and BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date are essential qualifications.
