Pharmacist Clinical - Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Pharmacy
Location:University of Colorado Hospital - Anschutz Cancer Pavilion Pharmacy, Aurora, CO.
Department: UCHA AMB HOPD pharmacy
FTE: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days, Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm. Weekend rotation required.
Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
- Ambulatory Infusion experience preferred
- Sterile Compounding Experience preferred

- We are seeking a pharmacist to join our dedicated team as an Infusion Pharmacist based in our ambulatory infusion center. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate review of medication orders for patients receiving chemotherapy, infusion therapies, and supportive care to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Verify and interpret chemotherapy orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness based on established protocols and patient-specific factors.Perform pharmaceutical calculations to determine accurate medication dosages and infusion rates.
- Evaluate patient-specific factors, such as lab results, renal and hepatic function, performance status, and comorbidities, to assess the appropriateness of medication orders.
- Identify potential drug-related problems and recommend solutions to optimize therapy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
