About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at UCHealth, you will be part of a dynamic team that improves lives by providing top-notch pharmacy support. You will utilize evidence-based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care, value and effectively partner with multidisciplinary teams to achieve care outcomes, prioritize wellness, a patient perspective and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available.
- Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging while maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired or near-expired items, ensuring prompt removal and replacement.
