As a Radiology X Ray Technologist at UCHealth, I provide direct patient care through various imaging and radiologic procedures while ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.
DescriptionLocation: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp, US:CO:Loveland Department: MCR Diagnostic Rad FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Flex Pay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour.
Role Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
- Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
- Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
- Implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
We are seeking a Radiology X Ray Technologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a fast-paced clinical environment focused on improving lives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
