Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cardiology Medicine Unit team at UCHealth. The successful candidate will provide top-notch direct patient care, prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice, and contribute to a safe and high-quality work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with moderate to high acuity in an acute care setting.
- Prioritize patient-centered care, leveraging the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and well-being.
- Precept new staff members and contribute to ongoing education and training initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and innovations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
