Pay: $18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:Creates and organizes patient charts for the day of surgery. Acquires necessary documents. Provides data to the physicians and OR staff. Performs clerical and receptionist duties.

Responsibilities
- Compiles new charts by organizing documentation for patient charts.
- Obtains necessary data. Communicates special needs for surgery to the OR. Informs management of problems.
- Collaborates with physician offices to obtain documents and resolve problems. Directs calls. Assists patients and visitors as needed.
- Assists with department supplies and equipment. Requisitions maintenance and service repairs.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Medical terminology within 1 year of hire.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
