What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Student - MSD - Thiraviam, Preethika - 2.6.25 position at UChicago Argonne, LLC?
The project will focus primarily on understanding the scope of spin qubit systems such as the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond and vanadium qubits in silicon carbide as scalable quantum sensors and their interaction with local charge and nuclear spins both within the host material and near surface. The work will primarily focus on charge dynamics of these spin qubit systems from both an experimental and computational materials science approach. The work relates both to experiments done in the Quantum Metamaterials FWP (MSD) and MICCoM (MSD).
Education and Experience Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution.
• Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
