Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Specialist at UCI School of Medicine in Irvine, CA. The Junior Specialist will be responsible for assisting in high-impact medical research, supporting diverse health workforce initiatives, and contributing to evidence-based basic and clinical research. Day-to-day tasks may include experiments in rodents, data collection and analysis, literature reviews, project coordination, maintenance of inventory and administrative paperwork, and supporting research publications and presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a bio-medical sciences related field
- Data Collection, Analysis, and Research skills
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in literature reviews and research publication support
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and research methodologies
- Previous research experience with rodents is a plus
