You will oversee and support our Cancer Registry team that covers Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital, as well as all surgical and ambulatory health areas. This will involve the timely and accurate abstraction of data from clinical records for reportable and non-reportable cancers. You will also develop and support registry follow-up services and recruit/develop CTR staff. You will:
- Identify, recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff
- Plan, prioritize, and use effective time management
- Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental budgets
- Drive optimization projects to enhance team performance
- Report cancer data to the state according to mandated timeframes
- Review case finding resources
- Act as a resource on abstracting and reportability of cases
- Provide accurate cancer data to the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Program for grant support
- Help design and analyze cancer data research requests
Annual Salary Range: $92,600 - $202,200
Fixed-Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm (PST)
