Description
The Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a full time Health Professional Education Specialist to act as the Medical Resident Coordinator. In this role you would manages the following:
- Coordinate 4th year medical student electives
- Manage visiting student applications for medical student electives through the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities(VSLO) platform;
- Coordinate the Department of Surgery Visiting Student Scholarship Program
- Manage all sub-internships for surgical electives
- Assist directors with enforcing DGSOM and Department of Surgery policies related to sub-interns.
- Provide administrative assistance when issues arise and provide back-up support to the Surgery Clerkship Coordinator and coordinate special projects as needed throughout the year for the Office of Education.
Pay Range: $32.76 - $49.65 hourly
Salary : $1,000 - $1,000,000
