DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join the Comprehensive Division in Westwood. This position involves delivering exceptional patient care while collaborating with a dynamic clinical team in a high-volume setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform imaging and comprehensive optometric examinations, including refractions, ocular motility, slit lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, and fundus exams.
- Provide patient education through written and verbal communication, addressing questions about surgical options, lens choices, medication, etc.
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of patients who are eligible for participation in clinical trials.
- Assisting with Urgent Care clinic operations by supporting providers with clinic overflow, coverage, and addressing absences as needed.
- Write prescriptions for glasses and authorize medication refills
Salary Range: $85,900-128,900
