The UCLA Rape Treatment Center provides all-inclusive services in a safe and therapeutic setting and is staffed by highly trained professionals with specialized expertise in the medical, forensic, and psychological aspects of victim care.
Leverage your expertise to make a real difference in the community as a Prevention Program Instructor. The Rape Treatment Center (RTC) Prevention Program Instructor will provide state-of-the-art sexual assault and abuse prevention programs individually tailored to high school students, caregivers, teachers, and community members throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Prevention Program Instructor will:
- Perform school and community-based presentations while exhibiting skill in public-speaking to various sized groups as well as manage classroom discussions while presenting.
- Provide crisis intervention and advocacy services to students in the school setting and make mandated reports as necessary.
- Participate with the Program Coordinator and Prevention Education Director/Clinical Supervisor in updating prevention education training materials and activities based on best practices, current research, and audience feedback.
- Assist the Program Coordinator and Prevention Education Director/Clinical Supervisor in fostering collaborative working relationships with all constituents to assure effective implementation of RTC programs and services.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage in the Rape Treatment Center acute medical/forensic clinic as a crisis counselor.
Note, only 1 position will be filled; either #23818 (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or #23819 (MSW / License-eligible Clinical Social Worker).
ACSW (MSW) Salary Range: $47.79 - $57.09 Hourly
LCSW Salary Range: $51.94 - $62.08 Hourly
