What are the responsibilities and job description for the Referral Coordinator position at UCLA Health Careers?

Join our VFC’s Centralized Referral Team and make a difference in the communities that we serve. Our Centralized Referral Team processes referrals to specialty care, diagnostics, DME and other services. Under the guidance and direction of the Referral Supervisor, the Referral Coordinator will:
- Request authorizations for required referrals
- Act as a liaison for patients and clinicians related to specialty care referrals
- Facilitate communication with referring clinicians
- Refer patients to appropriate resources
- Provide follow-up through phone, our patient portal, and established communication systems
- Complete other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $29.42 - $42.14 Hourly
