As a Revenue Cycle Healthcare Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of hospital and physician charges related to clinical trials, research, and grants. You will:
- Conduct daily reviews of pre-billed, billed, and denied charges to distinguish between research-related and standard-of-care activities.
- Resolve issues involving charge edits, claims processing, and revenue cycle functions to optimize workflows.
- Utilize clinical documentation, coding (CPT, Modifiers, ICD-10), and billing data to correct and process charges efficiently.
- Communicate risks and compliance concerns to leadership, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical research departments to serve as a subject matter expert for research-related billing activities.
- Analyze data trends, generate reports, and contribute to process enhancements that improve revenue cycle performance.
- Stay current on government regulations, clinical trial protocols, and industry standards to support organizational compliance.
Salary Range: $76,200–$158,800 annually
