Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in cleaning and sanitation at the UCLA West Valley Medical Center's Nutrition Department. These duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors, as well as washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, and discarding trash in waste bins.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and relining all trash containers and linen hampers, washing and steaming rubber floor mats, and properly storing housekeeping equipment. The candidate will also wash and sanitize dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment according to established procedures.
