Job Description
This is a critical support role that plays a vital part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff at the UCLA West Valley Medical Center's Nutrition Department.
As a member of the facilities team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors, as well as washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, and discarding trash in waste bins.
Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and relining all trash containers and linen hampers, washing and steaming rubber floor mats, and properly storing housekeeping equipment. You will also wash and sanitize dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment according to established procedures.
