Join our Venice Family Clinic team to make a difference in the community. As a Health Insurance Enrollment Assistant, you will
Operate as first contact for health insurance clients through phone and drop-in services.
Provide support for the data management of VFC's Health Insurance Enrollment Program.
Be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data, file retrieval, and assisting with reporting.
Assist with other needed office duties and travel to our other locations within LA County.

Salary range : $25.60 - $36.33 hourly
Qualifications
Required :
Demonstrated clerical work experience in a high-volume office setting, and experience within in a community-based health clinic.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficient computer skills; the ability to verify insurance coverage online and work with databases and word processing.
Ability to keep accurate records; including filing alphabetically and numerically with accuracy.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision.
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within a team and with individuals from diverse ethnic, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Ability to perform duties even with frequent interruptions and / or distractions and changing priorities / deadlines.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work weekends and evenings on an as-needed basis.
Ability to provide coverage at our multiple sites (Rose, Pico, RLHC, and CHC) on a weekly basis.
