Join our team as a Histotechnologist 1! Your primary duties will include :
Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens with H&E and special stains according to established protocols.
Maintain quality control and other logs as necessary to uphold high standards of laboratory practice.
Interact with faculty, residents, and grossing personnel to address any issues or concerns regarding test orders.
Maintain a clean and properly maintained work area to promote a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
Salary Range : $52.83 / hour - $63.14 / hour
Qualifications
Must possess Histotechnician HT (ASCP) or Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP) certification.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).
Have flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed.
