The Senior Custodian at UCLA Health's Nutrition Department is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. This includes performing a variety of duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping and waxing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, and discarding trash in waste bins. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read and write, and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and safe working environment.
- Perform variety of duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping and waxing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, and discarding trash in waste bins.
- Ensure all trash containers and linen hampers are clean, sanitized and properly lined.
- Wash and steam rubber floor mats.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisor on duty.
