Join our team as a Research Finance Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in managing extramural funds, contracts, and grants for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Primary duties include:
- Serve as the primary research administrator for assigned Principal Investigators (PIs), managing both pre-award and post-award activities.
- Process proposal submissions, develop grant, subaward, and subcontract budgets, and oversee financial management and reporting.
- Act as the subject matter expert for policy interpretation and compliance.
- Serves as a liaison between PIs, collaborating investigators/institutions, funding agencies, and University central offices
- Manage financial operations for indirect recovery funds, gifts, and endowment accounts.
- Prepare and present quarterly research metrics reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of research administration experience, with a comprehensive understanding of polices related to pre-award administration, proposal development, contracts, grant awards, and subcontracts.
- Proficiency in performing moderately complex financial analysis and generating customized reports.
- Strong communication skills to articulate policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Westwood at least 3 days/week during the first six months for training purposes.
Salary : $68,800 - $141,000
