What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Programs Instructor position at UCLA?
As a High School Programs Instructor for our summer academic enrichment program, you will guide middle and/or high school students through their first glimpse of the college experience.
In this role, you will be working with the High School and Custom Programs Coordinator. Each instructor is responsible for developing a course curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plans based on existing course descriptions. Additional responsibilities include the request and management of supplies, daily attendance, writing an evaluation for each student at the end of each course, and teaching multi grade level students all while providing an energetic, interactive, and project based classroom experience.

Qualifications
- Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, and managing a classroom. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in related field; or and equivalent combination of education and experience. (Required)
Special Conditions for Employment
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired.
